I know this week I should be focused on preparing my heart and my child's heart for Easter, but I tend to get caught up in the busyness of day to day life that never ends... Easter programs, egg hunts, basket preparedness... and somehow forget what the real important things are.
Jesus paid it all,
All to Him I owe;
Sin had left a crimson stain,
He washed it white as snow.
1 Peter 1:18-19
Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your Son to earth as a baby so many years ago. Thank you that He paid the punishment for my sins by dying on the cross. And thank you that He rose again to prove that death was truly defeated. I place my trust in You to be my Savior. Guide me through the dark times of my life and give me courage to live for You. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that my children grow to love and trust in you at an early age. I pray they know to put value in things of Heaven and not things of this Earth. I pray they surround themselves with relationships that glorify you.
Happy Easter friends. Where will you be celebrating this week?
