Giving Kisses

When Thomas was around 3 or 4 months old I felt certain the rash on his face was from his overly affectionate mother kissing his cheeks from morning till morning.  There's never been a shortage for kisses.

Thomas has been blowing kisses for several months now. But one afternoon as we were rocking and reading a prenap book he leaned up and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I have to say its just about the cutest thing I've ever experienced.  Over the past week or two he has really started picking up the frequency. 

Today was chilly and overcast, so we did lots of this...

Did you notice anything in that first picture? We are teething BIG TIME.

Drooling, low grade fever, ear pulling, upset stomach, fussy, irregular sleeping. Oh yes, Teething Big Time.

Thomas enjoyed staying at his Mamaw and Papaw's last Friday and Saturday night.

We've been experiencing a string of bad weather. It was pretty gloomy all weekend. 

 

The weather cleared up for just a few minutes on Sunday and we enjoyed a picnic with friends.  Seriously, just a few minutes. The wind picked up and none of us could hold our plates down.  It was fun, even if we were only together for 30 minutes.

We have an espresso machine not a coffee pot.  As much as I love espresso, It's time comsuming and terribly messy. With a busy boy at my feet its just too much work.  Last week at Target I picked up some of these. I'm hooked. Mendy, you would love these.

Also, Dad this is the book Brian was telling you about. He finished it over the weekend and I started it this morning.  It's fantastic, you would really enjoy it.
