We have been having the best Summer. It has been filled with playdates, VBS, birthdays, trips to the lake, and a week in Alabama. Please accept this photo essay to explain our tremendously action filled summertime.
Eliza, one of our sweet neighbors, celebrated her 2nd birthday.
We went to Martin for some pool time with our buddy Aiden.
But on this day, Thomas was more interested in "wa-la-ler" than swimming.
"Wa-la-ler" is Thomas's "water", which is his latest mastered skill. Drinking water from a bottle; holding it by himself and not spilling a drop.
Aiden and his sweet mommy Nicole LOVED the pool.
To try and beat this sweltering heat, we really Brian installed a pool. A bright orange, inflatable one!
That first time we spent more time trying to keep him in the pool. 
Brian and I both helped at VBS this year. Does VBS mean alot to you? It does to me; In 1988 at Vacation Bible School I said the Sinner's Prayer and asked Jesus into my heart.
While Brian and I were painting, sewing, building, and praying Thomas was playing. These girls really LOVE our sweet boy.
We enjoyed the petting zoo at the library with our friends Cord and his sweet mommy Leslie.
Cord showed Thomas how to really enjoy a sno-cone.
Can you tell Thomas LOVED the sno-cones? Even the big horse couldn't distract him.
Cord showed Thomas how to feed the horse.
But I couldn't get him to do it.
