Thomas you are 3 months old. You are such a good, happy baby and your dad and I are enjoying every minute of you. You are going to bed around 9:30pm and sleeping until 4:30am. At 4:30 to take a bottle and go right back to sleep until 7:15. Your dad and I often joke that you are too good and we may not have anymore children. We are so thankful to be your parents. You have changed our lives so much and we love you more than we ever thought possible. When we think think about how much Our Lord loves His children and loves you, we are overwhelmed. Our prayer for you is that you grow to love and know Him more.
You have just started straightening your little legs when we are holding you up. You grunt and bobble your little head looking all around.
At your 2 month doctor's appointment Dr. Smith heard a heart murmur and suspected you had a hole in your heart. You were referred to a pediatric cardiologist. For almost a month I prayed and prayed for you. Your friends and family were praying for you. Your dad was so faithful and just knew that when we went for your appointment your heart would be perfect. And son, your father was right. Your doctor said your heart was "beautiful". The hole that was there, she could tell it had grown up significantly. She told us that she feels confident it will grow up on its own. We go back in 5 months. We are so thankful for your good healthy heart.
At the cardiologist appointment we found out some statistics.
At 3 months you:
-are 25" long: 75th percentile for height
-weigh 14 lbs. 5 oz., just about the 50th for weight
- weight for height around 35th
Your doctor says you are a tall little boy.
