Hi Aunt Jane!

I told y'all I was going to post tonight!  Yay.... I'm back.

....Hi Pop, Hi Juju, Hi Aunt Jen, Hi Aunt Priscilla,
It has been a while.... And I'm sorry. I have this goal where I try to make at least 10 blog posts a month; and clearly I've failed miserably this summer. Moving forward, I promise myself (to have this blog for my family for years to come).... That I will be posting lots about all the Sartin happenings. I'm going to make up for lost time. Are you ready?! Here we go....

The past few months have been F.U.N. Thomas has always been a fun kid, but as his vocabulary has grown his personality has just burst open. He is hilarious and says the most witty stuff. Its hard to have a bad day when you're with him because he keeps you laughing.

He started preschool last week at First Baptist.

He never batted an eye. He walked in and started playing.  I love that he is such a happy boy.
This summer we enjoyed our mommy/son time together.

Something this momma has really enjoyed almost as much as my time with T... has been my time with my Samford friends.
The above picture is one Amy posted on FB.  I could only get a copy of it from my phone... but I really wanted to share it with y'all. Can you tell by looking at them how great they are?

Amy has been helping me spruce up some things around our home.  I kinda was feeling like it looked like my parents lived here.  No offense to my parents home, it's beautiful.... But Brian and I (well, truth be told, Brian could not have cared less) wanted something a little more funky;  A little more hip.  Again, no offense to my parents.  But the red and golds were not us.  Your home should be you, right? (I like to think I'm funky and hip)
I have no before pictures handy, but here is some of the progress....

It's sounds silly for me to put so much interest in material things but I love the fresh paint and new furnishings.  And I love that my dear college friend Amy helped me pick everything out.
We have several projects going on around our home and I can't wait to reveal them to you.... ESP our new bathroom.  It's SUPER hip!

I'll see y'all tomorrow!
