Girls Weekend Away

A few weekends ago I met up with friends who all live in Nashville for a fun weekend.  Here are a few pictures that I took with my cell phone.

 Amy, in the pink dress, and I went to Samford together.  Her career is selling fancy medical equipment for a living, but is an incredible interior designer.  She is coming to Dyersburg next week to help me with some projects around our house.  I cannot wait! 

Heather, above in the white shirt, was my neighbor when I was at Samford living in the Chi O house.   

Kristi, above, is kinda famous if you're into gospel music.  Maybe you've heard of her husband and his famous family.

 My precious friend Joy, who you've heard me talk about before, is currently doing mission (she's nurse who, other than working with a medical team, is conducting vacation bible school) work with her husband (who's working on a water purification program) in AFRICA.  Can't wait to hear about their adventure.

Such a fun weekend with great friends.  I'm so thankful that Brian let me sneak away, that Thomas's Aunt Jen picked him up from Mother's Day Out, and that my mother in law took Thomas to a birthday party while I was away. 
I have LOTS of catching up to do.  We have been busy enjoying our summer and not spending much time on the computer.  But I will be filling you in on the highlights of our June.  Be back soon.
