Thomas and I started Kindermusik 2 weeks ago. I had heard about it in Montgomery and also when I did alot of babysitting in Birmingham. I knew it was something I wanted Thomas to be involved with if I could find a class nearby. I looked on the internet and found one in Jackson; about 45 minutes away.
Kindermusik is a music and movement class. For instance we have a song that we all, me included, sing about a carpenter's hammer. The song says, "The carpenter's hammer goes "rap, rap, rap" (we make the movement of a hammer) ; and his saw goes "see saw see" (we move our hands back and forth on the carpet)."
This is our teacher, Mrs. Mary. She makes our class lots of fun. She likes Thomas and Thomas is still not really sure about her.
Thomas loves story time at Kindermusik. One of his newer words is "book".
Thomas has been enjoying his new friend Sam. Sam is rough like Thomas.
We are also learning to share.
what a neat, and needed, idea! It's a shame we there's not one closer to you. Maybe YOU could put one together :D
ReplyDeleteI'm wanting to do a post on little ones of the little ones I knew in second grade :) and would love a photo or two of Thomas that shows the fall season. I need you to do a post of it, as I'll link back to you from my blog. I'll be looking for it!
