Thomas and I enjoyed lunch today with one of my most favorite people, Sarah Rice Miller. "Miss" Sarah, when she sends me notes she always writes her name that way, and
I have worked together for the past 4 years. Technically "Miss" Sarah retired several years ago, but seeing as our (my old) office building is the Sarah Rice Miller Health Center she maintains an office. "Miss" Sarah is a nurse and, as public health advocate, been devoted to helping the people in our county for 70+ years. She treated us to lunch at the country club today and it was
truly a treat. "Miss" Sarah loves me and I lover her... and it's good for my soul to see how much she adores Thomas. "Miss" Sarah is full of life and such an interesting lady. Listening to her has always been wonderfully entertaining for me.

How sweet to have an "adopted grandmother". I'm sure she enjoyed the company too.
